DLP projector

A Digital Light Processing (DLP) projector is a type of video projector technology that utilizes a digital micromirror device (DMD) to project images.

The DMD chip consists of millions of tiny mirrors that tilt either towards or away from a light source, creating pixels that form a projected image. DLP projectors are known for their sharp and vibrant image quality, high contrast ratios, and the ability to produce smooth, fast motion scenes, making them ideal for both business presentations and home theater systems. They are also compact and typically require less maintenance compared to other types of projectors, such as LCD or CRT, due to the sealed chip design that protects the optics from dust.
